I ZINGANE ZIKA KISS
We are a local female Maskandi Music group, who write and perform our own songs. Our songs are based on everyday challenges that we as African people face with the hope of healing our African nation through song and dance.
Biography
We were born and raised eFolweni which is part of eMbumbulu within the Makhanya village in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. We grew up around Maskandi music as our father (Phindela Fanyana “Kiss Mantombazane” Maphumulo) was a Maskandi song writer and performer called Kiss, hence our name Izingane Zika-Kiss.
